ŌHAU School is a full primary school, situated 6km from Levin and rests at the foothills of the Tararua Ranges. At ŌHAU School our students' needs are at the forefront of all the teaching and learning decisions we make, explicitly teaching PR1ME Math and Structured Literacy.

We acknowledge the culture and identity of all our learners, whānau and teachers, and believe these principles honour all our students to achieve to their full potential.

International Day of Persons with Disabilities

The International Day of Persons with Disabilities is recognised worldwide each year on 3 December. It’s a day to promote understanding of disability issues, celebrate the achievements and contributions of disabled people, and advocate for greater inclusion and accessibility in all areas of life.

To recognise this day, we invite our students to wear purple on Friday 5 December. We will collect donations to be passed on to Levin Uniting Parish for their 2026 Celebrate Us – Kotahitanga! event.

???? Junior Athletics Update for Parents

Due to the wet weather this morning, we’ve made the decision not to go ahead with our junior athletics event as planned at 9.15am.

We’re keeping a close eye on conditions and hoping the weather clears and the grass dries so we can run the event after lunch instead. Thank you for your support and understanding.
